Great organisation and fantastic staff, really helpful. Runs are great for a fun-style run with some great scenery. Love doing these Toni OH

Lovely summer run Sherri H

Local canal run. Course was flat along the canal, 2.5k four times. Not many runners attended. Only needed one marshal at the turnaround point. Monotonous and no water at the 5k point, which was much needed in summer. Friendly and low key, and a nice little run if you’re a beginner Tara C

Grim Up North provide the best races for all running abilities. The organisers are fantastic, helpful, funny, inspiring and welcoming, and they provide the best events in the best places. Not only are they the best events going, but they cater for all ages and abilities. I will always be in the last 10 or 15 to finish, but the Grim Up North Team are as enthusiastic and lovely with the tail-enders as they are with the elite and intermediate. As the better runners pass the others on their way back, they still give words of encouragement to keep the slower ones going. A great running community and a great organisation, with brilliant medals and burgers. Awesome Jean C

Grim is all things bright and beautiful, races for everyone. Hilary W
