The Shrewsbury Duathlon is a safe, friendly and inclusive run–bike–run event designed for all ages and ability levels.
Held entirely within Shrewsbury Sports Village, the race uses the purpose-built cycle track and running routes — no public roads are involved, ensuring a secure and supportive environment for everyone taking part.

A full programme for ages 8–14, giving young athletes the chance to compete and develop their skills.
Super Sprint Duathlon
Perfect for beginners looking for a relaxed, welcoming race atmosphere.
Training opportunity
Ideal for experienced duathletes and triathletes wanting to refine their techniques in a controlled setting.

Arrival
Please arrive 30 - 45 minutes before your wave start time.
This should give you ample time to familiarise yourself with the transition, warm up, discuss any queries you may have with the team and use the facilities if necessary. Waves start at 09:30. Start lists will be posted on this page with your number and official start time the day before the event.
Registration
Please bring your entry confirmation email so we can scan you in. You will collect your race number at registration as you arrive at the event where we will also check your helmet. You can then make your way into transition to rack your bike. This will be your area to keep your bike and trainers and any nutrition/hydration you may require during the event.
Transition area
You can keep your bike, running shoes and any nutrition/hydration you require during the event in and around transition. Please keep any bags or items you will not need during the event in your car. There will be no additional storage available.
Spectators support
Spectators are more than welcome. There is a cafe on site that has been prepped and ready to serve your every need for coffees, teas, bacon barms and loads more. Spectators must remain off the cycle track at all times.

Great welcoming event for those who are both new to the sport or regular competitors - or even those of us with a bit of rust! Fantastic course enclosed from the roads which provides a fantastic safe environment for all ages to take part.
