Super sprint duathlons are usually around a 2.5K run, 10K cycle and another 2.5K run to finish off. Closely related to triathlons but without the swim, these short events are a great way for beginners to familiarise themselves with the sport and practice transitions - changing from running to cycling and back again to running.
