Event overview

The mission is simple: to create fun, full-throttle, mass-participation sports events where people with disabilities – AKA Everyday Superheroes – call the shots and don’t have to worry about cut-off times or equipment restrictions.

For all these missions you can either fly solo or team up with family and friends to do as much or as little as you wish, with as much or as little support as you need. If you want flippers or floats in the water or need to use your powerchair, it is made possible. In fact, as far as we’re concerned, anything goes!

Superheroes can recruit Sidekick teammates to tow, push and pull them around the entire course! This summer we will be celebrating our super planet and all its natural wonders, so prepare yourself for a super-wild time!

Who can join? Everyone is welcome. All we ask is that all solo entrants, or at least one team member, considers themselves to have a disability of any kind.

How to join: You can use anything you might need to complete your tri stage/s. For the swim, you can use flippers or floats or be towed in a vessel on the water (just remember to let us know about your vessel when you sign up). For the cycle, all types of adaptive bikes and wheelchairs are welcome. For the final run/push, everything from baby buggies to race runners and powerchairs are actively encouraged.

Dress code: A Superhero outfit, of course!

4 steps to wellbeing
Sleep well

A good night's sleep is an essential foundation for a healthy lifestyle, effective training and weight control.

Train slow

Low-intensity training is easier for you, reduces the risk of injury and helps builds an efficient aerobic system.

Eat natural

Cut out sugar & junk food, reduce carbs, eat natural foods and train your body to burn fat for fuel.

Get outdoors

Fresh air, natural light and reconnecting with nature all help to improve mental and physical wellbeing.
