Sunday: British Open Water Swimming Championships will take place with a programme that will include an elite invitation 5km swim.
You can decide whether you want to wear a wetsuit or not if the water temperature is over 16 degrees. Kit advice is readily available to all swimmers.

Caring for the eight Royal Parks in London for everyone to enjoy.
The Royal Parks conserves and manages the eight Royal Parks for the millions of Londoners and tourists that visit free of charge every year, and for future generations. Covering over 5,000 acres, these London parks are spaces to enjoy for leisure, sport, entertainment, education, history and culture.
£25 could buy torches for volunteers to collect data on hedgehogs or £50 could help fund the laying of native hedgerow providing wildlife habitats.
This is a common concern but once you get signed up and start fundraising the team at The Royal Parks will have plenty of tips for reaching (and smashing!) the target. If you think you're going to struggle, the best thing to do is have a chat with them as each charity has its own approach.
Just click 'Find out more now' and fill in the enquiry form to get their contact details - if you put your question in, someone from their team will get back to you.
