The Hangers Way 50K

The Hangers Way 50K is a beautiful point to point trail run event starting at the fantastic Alice Holt Country Park, Farnham and finishing at Queen Elizabeth Country Park, Nr Petersfield. The Hangers Way is a spectacularly unique long distance path, characterised by steep-sided wooded hills, known as “The Hangers”. It runs from Alton to Queen Elizabeth Country Park and we have used our usual BigFeat creativity to link the best trails up with this to make it a phenomenal 50K route. The fully-signed course meanders through the beautiful woodland and grassland of the Hampshire countryside, visiting delightful villages such as Bighton and Selborne, home to Gilbert White, the naturalist and pioneer environmentalist. Free parking is available at Queen Elizabeth Country Park (QECP) and you can choose to add on transport (£8) and get the bus to the start at Alice Holt. The route is fully supported with 4 aid stations, fully stocked with legendary BigFeat snacks! A bespoke medal awaits you at the finish or you can choose to have a tree planted instead. Cut-off is 9 hours.
