Set on the autonomous Portuguese island of Madeira, this challenge explores its rugged interior, from steep mountain paths and high ridges to lush laurel forests shaped by volcanic origins.
The island is an oasis of green, with incredible natural pools carved out of lava rocks, gorgeous cliffs overlooking the North Atlantic Ocean and charming towns. It is located in Macaronesia, approximately 400 kilometres north of the Canary Islands and 520 kilometres west of the Kingdom of Morocco.
