Event overview

NO increase in price from last year! In fact, some reductions... The festival includes a 10km (min 15 yrs) and 5km (min 13 yrs) road race, as well as a shorter run for 8-12 year olds. We're even putting on a Couch to 5k course for beginners and returners! The races starts in the beautiful Market Place under the gaze of two medieval gateways - the Penniless Porch and the Bishop’s Eye, and a fast and furious grandstand finish is guaranteed alongside the Bishop’s Palace moat. Prizes available will be available for both females and males, and in order of precedence, one per competitor. Team prizes (position of first three runners) will be awarded for the 10k. The 10k is part of the Somerset Series, which promotes road running across Somerset. The 10k is also part of the Somerset Road Running Championships, if you are eligible to compete.

This event is part of Wells Festival of Running.

Eat natural

Cut out sugar & junk food, reduce carbs, eat natural foods and train your body to burn fat for fuel.

Get outdoors
