The festival includes a 10km and 5km road race, as well as a shorter run for 8-12 year olds.

These popular local races returns to the traditional May slot in 2024 (they were held in September for a couple of years following the Covid pandemic). The races starts in the beautiful Market Place under the gaze of two medieval gateways - the Penniless Porch and the Bishop’s Eye. A fast and furious grandstand finish is guaranteed alongside the Bishop’s Palace moat.
