Let's MOVE for Movember and make this November the biggest ever month that MoBro's, MoSista's and Mini MoRunners come together across the country. It's time to create memories!
When you MoRun you will be inspired to acheive your goals, you will run with a smile on your face, you will meet incredible people and in turn help raise awareness and fundraising for partner charity Movember. Take on the 5K MoRun, 10K MoRun or step up the challenge and give the Half Marathon a go!
Let's not forget the kids as they can now take on the fully race-chipped 1.5K Mini MoRun.
This event is part of York MoRun.

MoRunning is all about inclusivity and whether you are just starting out, a seasoned runner, young or old, you can be a MoRunner.
There will be some funky tunes played and the team will get you warmed up and ready to run!
Without a doubt MoRunners bring good fun, great vibes, loads of laughs and incredible costumes.
The crowds love it, we love it and there's a load of amazing MoMedals to hand out.
If you want to be in the fancy dress showdown make sure you line up between the fancy dress flags by 9.15am. There will also be spot prizes for best dressed Mini MoRunners when they cross the finish line.

Make sure everyone you want to be in your team uses exactly the same team name when booking.
For the 5K some walking is allowed however due to time constraints the 10K and half marathon events they must be predominately running/jogging.
The route is not suitable for wheelchairs.

There is parking around the racecourse however this is limited. Please ensure you plan your journey to arrive with plenty of time to spare.
Get ready York to MoRun around the stunning York Racecourse! From the start to the 2km point is pathway and then from 2km to 5km is grass with one incline and some bumps here and there. It could be quite muddy if it's been raining! It's mainly flat with one incline. It's dog friendly. The course not suitable for wheelchair users. Off road running buggies are ok as long as it's not too muddy. 5K is one lap, the 10K is two laps and the Half Marathon is 4 laps with one extra 1.1K section. 2 sections of the course are road crossings so please take care at these points
There is a cut off time of 3 hours to complete the run from when the event starts.
The MoRunning medals are pretty special! You definitely need to add this to your collection and will collect yours as soon as you cross the finish line!
Every MoRunner receives a super cool MoRunning headband. Collect when you arrive to your MoRun, wear it with pride and smile for the crowd!
Every MoRunner will receive the very best in race timing with full race chip timing and instant results as soon as you cross the finish line.
At the MoRun finish line there will be drinks and snacks for you including water, sweets and other goodies from event partners!

Movember is the only charity tackling men’s health on a global scale, year round. Movember raises funds and awareness for prostate cancer, testicular cancer, mental health and suicide prevention.
When registering you can help support the charity by making a donation or you can set up a fundraising page with Movember or JustGiving once you complete your entry. Simply raise as much as you can.
