Event overview

There's Olympic and Sprint distances to choose from, with exceptional courses that will both challenge and inspire you, a reason why this event is many people's favourite. This event starts with a sea swim, in Abersoch's sheltered bay, the bike route is a 20km lap for the sprint distance and 2 laps of the same course for the Olympic distance, closed off in sections to the traffic. The run takes in the unique terrain of part beach, part trail and part road, with both races boasting that picture-book finish on Abersoch beach. Great race support throughout the course, all the pro race assets you would expect from a big triathlon event, and a memorable atmosphere with music and beach bar to enhance your post race celebrations. Entries still available but running out fast, so get booked in and come and join us for the 10th annual Abersoch Triathlon, and don't forget your sunnies and beach towel! 1K Beach Race - A fantastic race for the young runners who want to get involved, wear a race bib and earn a zinc alloy race medal. With a trophy and a little cash for the category winners, plus that unbeatable proud feeling for all finishers, and for many watching too!
