Event overview

Set in the stunning North Wales seaside town of Abersoch, there are Olympic and Sprint distance triathlons to choose from, with exceptional courses that will both challenge and inspire you. This event is the favourite of many!

Great race support throughout the course, all the pro race assets you would expect from a big triathlon event, and a memorable atmosphere with music and beach bar to enhance your post-race celebrations.

Entries always sell out, so get booked in and come and join the 10th annual Abersoch Triathlon, and don't forget your sunnies and beach towel!

Abersoch Triple Crown

A unique race series in a stunning location with a memorable atmosphere. Join any of the Abersoch races or commit to the Triple Crown and take on all three for the sought-after Triple Crown medal.

Your times will be combined for the 10K, Triathlon and Half Marathon to give your overall time and the chance to get on the TC leaderboard, a share of the prize fund or the Triple Crown trophy itself.

Dual in the Crown

Complete both Olympic and Sprint Distance Triathlons in one day.

For those who like to test their limits, there's the chance to take on both distances in one day. If you’re successful, you’ll earn yourself an exclusive and much sought-after ‘ABERSOCH Dual in the Crown’ mug!

Overview

The Elvins ABERSOCH 1K Beach Sprint takes place in between the Olympic and Sprint distance Abersoch Triathlons.

Every runner receives an accurate time using the timing chip technology and there are categories for Open (U17), Under 14, Under 12, Under 10k and Under 8 with Trophies and cash prizes for both the boys and girls winners of each.

The race takes place on Abersoch Beach to the right of the middle slip ramp near the beach cafe. It’s a great course along the beach mixing hard and soft sand, and expect to get your feet wet!

The start is on Abersoch beach to the right of the middle slip ramp (bottom of Lon Golff / Golf Road.
