Overview

The Marathon Relay takes place on the same day as the Milton Keynes Marathon event, pitting teams of four runners (adults only 17+) against each other, each competitor running a leg of approximately 10K.
The relay event is open to businesses, charities, clubs, or even groups of friends and is characterised by a strong element of friendly competition as teams compete to be seen as the fittest or the fastest. These titles represent not only an enviable PR title but also bragging rights that last for a full year.
This opportunity does not come around every day and is something not to be missed. Race bibs will need to be collected by the Team Captain on the morning of the race.
Team members can run in any order, but the team bibs must be used in sequence A, B, C then D.

Route description
Milton Keynes is blessed with a tremendous amount of natural beauty as is lucky to have a world-class system of smooth and wide cycle paths known as redways. This event takes advantage of those factors to show off the green city, giving runners a course that is scenic, interesting, inspiring, fun to run, fast, and excitingly different from other marathons.
Relay changeover points will be located at approximately miles 6.2, 13.1, and 20. You can either nominate a team driver or take turns driving your vehicle around the course. We will provide maps and detailed instructions to get you to each changeover point.
Cut off time
6 hours 30 minutes.
There is a course time limit of 6.5 hours.

My first marathon and I loved it. That was down to just how well organised it was. Marshall support was first class, as were drink stations. Crowd support was so much better than I ever thought it would be. Quite honestly I have nothing but praise for this event and would highly recommend it to others. Thank for making my experience so memorable. Sophie W
Absolutely love this event. I have now ran it 5 times so have earnt my legend medal yeah. The Marshalls are awesome as always as well as the crowds. It feels like a home race for me. And hope to keep doing it as long as I can. I was lucky to get picked to be an Ambassador for the race this year and have loved it. It has great scenery also and they point out places of interest along the route. Becci S
Incredible weekend, canโt wait to compete again!!! Soo much fun, family friendly for all an amazing course and such a good atmosphere you canโt help get sucked in and want more!!! James C
