The course itself is fast and flat making it suitable for runners all abilities and is simply one of the must do half marathons, whether you’re training for the London Marathon or just looking for a good charity challenge.
Take a tour through time and explore historic Bath before/after your run. It's the only city in the UK to be designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site, with ancient history and Georgian elegance sitting comfortably alongside modern cosmopolitan buzz.
"I absolutley loved this half marathon. From the moment I arrived at the station it felt very organised. Sign posted all the way to the runners village. Overall I felt it was quite flat with a few little challenges along the way. The crowds were brilliant. I thought the goodie bags were good too. I got a PB which I wasn't at all expecting so I will most definitely will be back next year."
"Atmosphere is great, it being a 2 lap race really helps as it means you pass through areas with decent crowds for well over half the race. Love the live bands too. Would recommend." - Stuart Sellers
The Bath Half has raised over £19 million for over 100 charities. Having consistently sold out year after year, the best way to ensure you’re on the start line is to apply for a charity place.

Every childhood is worth fighting for.
Together we can help children who’ve been abused to rebuild their lives. Together we can protect children at risk. And, together, we can find the best ways of preventing child abuse from ever happening.
We change the law. We visit schools across the country, helping children understand what abuse is. And, through our Childline service, we give young people a voice when no one else will listen.
But all this is only possible with your support.
Every pound raised, every petition you sign, every minute of your time, will help make sure we can fight for every childhood.
