Helping to eliminate isolation and loneliness, enabling people to live later life well.
Fundraising is vital to MHA, supporting their crucial services that help to eliminate loneliness and isolation, enabling people to live later life well. They provide fun and friendship through their 62 award-winning Live At Home community groups and comfort when needed with one-to-one Chaplaincy support across their 90 care homes.
They are also a leading provider of music therapy services for those living with dementia. Money you might raise helps them continue this vital work.
This is a common concern but once you get signed up and start fundraising the team at MHA will have plenty of tips for reaching (and smashing!) the target. If you think you're going to struggle, the best thing to do is have a chat with them as each charity has its own approach.
Just click 'Find out more now' and fill in the enquiry form to get their contact details - if you put your question in, someone from their team will get back to you.

Tackling poverty through renewable energy.
With 1.2 billion people having no access to electricity and spending 200 million hours a day collecting water, Renewable World tackles poverty with clean energy projects across the world to improve incomes, health and education.
Of money you raise £30 could give a Kenyan fisherman the ability to refrigerate fish and seek a fair price or £50 can buy a micro irrigation kit for a Nepalese woman to grow high value crops.

Funding medical research projects to secure a future without prostate cancer.
Last year 56,000 men were diagnosed with prostate cancer in the UK. They are someone's grandfather, father, brother, or son.
Whilst prostate cancer is treatable in the prostate, once it spreads to other parts of the body, it becomes incurable and life-limiting. Our aim is simple: to fund the ground-breaking research into developing patient first treatments, which provide hope and a future for men and their families.
Thanks to our fundraisers, we have recently increased the number of medical research projects we fund by 175%. It is our hope that this will lead to further breakthroughs and the development of future therapies for men with prostate cancer.
This is a common concern but once you get signed up and start fundraising the team at Prostate Cancer Research Centre will have plenty of tips for reaching (and smashing!) the target. If you think you're going to struggle, the best thing to do is have a chat with them as each charity has its own approach.
