The Zombie Evacuation Race is a 5k fun run designed to give you a one-off experience you will never forget.
All runners or “evacuees” start with 3 lifebelts and your aim is to prevent those merciless zombies from hypothetically biting you 3 times and transforming you into one of their own! When you reach the safe zone at the end of the course, you will be recognised as either a survivor (with at least one life belt) or infected (no lifebelts). Survivors receive the coveted survivor's medal, and the infected receive their infected medal and our taken to the neutralisation zone to be terminated!
Designed by a team crack team of creative zombie fanatics, the Zombie Evacuation Race is an event which emerged quite literally from the grave with a macabre mission: to scare the masses and to get them running for their lives! “Only the fittest will survive”‚ and participants are warned to expect a fair share of frights, surprises, screams and frantic dashes.
It’s time to support children in the UK who feel scared, unloved and unable to cope.
Right now, in Britain today, there are children and young people who feel scared, unloved and unable to cope. They feel alone in the world, like they just don’t matter. This is a lonely place for them, where it is easy to feel overwhelmed.
These are the children and young people we work with, step-by-step, for as long as it takes, making small changes that make a big difference.
We listen. We support. We act.
Last year we worked directly with more than 13,000 vulnerable children and young people, and helped change laws to improve life for millions more.
There are no simple answers to tackling the problems young people today are facing. Often it is complex and we can’t do it alone. This is why we work with politicians, policy makers and other organisations to come together, to help tackle them.
Only together can we make a difference, not just to individual lives, but to the lives of millions of children both now and in the future.
Because no child should feel alone.
