Cycle touring

Discover on and off-road cycle touring and the range of benefits for the cyclist, whether it be in the UK, Europe or further afield.

It's a great way to see a country and you travel at your own pace - whether you want to ride 20 miles, stopping to visit local places of interest, or concentrate on pedalling and cover well over 100 miles in day.

If you want to be truly independent you can camp, but if you prefer to travel a little lighter, consider using Youth Hostels (there is no age limit!) or B&B.

And if you're considering cycling the off-road Coast to Coast or West Highland Way then read on for our expert tips on what to pack and how to pack it.
