We are the cancer prevention experts
World Cancer Research Fund (WCRF UK) is committed to cancer prevention through a healthy diet, nutrition and weight management. We provide people with the information they need to reduce their cancer risk and we were the first charity to link diet and cancer. Over the last 25 years we have made huge steps forward with our cancer prevention research, linking lifestyle factors to cancer risk. We are mostly funded by donations from the general public.

We’re the Parkinson’s support and research charity. Help us find a cure and improve life for everyone affected by Parkinson’s.
Every hour, two people in the UK are told they have Parkinson’s – a brain condition that turns lives upside down, leaving a future full of uncertainty. Parkinson’s UK is here to make sure people have whatever they need to take back control – from information to inspiration.
We want everyone to get the best health and social care. So we bring professionals together to drive improvements that enable people to live life to the full.Ultimately, we want to end Parkinson’s. That’s why we inspire and support the international research community to develop life-changing treatments, faster. And we won’t stop until we find a cure.
Together we can bring forward the day when no one fears Parkinson’s.

Funding medical research projects to secure a future without prostate cancer.
The mission of PCRC is to develop new therapy for men with advanced prostate cancer. The immediate goal is to increase survival and our vision is a cure for the disease.
The Prostate Cancer Research Centre is the only charity solely focused on funding world class scientists developing new treatments for advanced prostate cancer.
Prostate cancer is the most frequently diagnosed cancer in men. Over 11,000 men die every year in the UK and the number increases every year.
Advanced prostate cancer is treated with hormone therapy, developed in the 1940s. Hormone therapy is still the primary and most effective treatment for advanced prostate cancer. Consequently, survival rates have improved little over the last 70 years. New and more effective therapy is urgently needed.
We are dedicated to improving the survival of the next generation of men and better treatment can only come through research.

It’s time to support children in the UK who feel scared, unloved and unable to cope.
Right now, in Britain today, there are children and young people who feel scared, unloved and unable to cope. They feel alone in the world, like they just don’t matter. This is a lonely place for them, where it is easy to feel overwhelmed.
These are the children and young people we work with, step-by-step, for as long as it takes, making small changes that make a big difference.
We listen. We support. We act.
Last year we worked directly with more than 13,000 vulnerable children and young people, and helped change laws to improve life for millions more.
There are no simple answers to tackling the problems young people today are facing. Often it is complex and we can’t do it alone. This is why we work with politicians, policy makers and other organisations to come together, to help tackle them.
Only together can we make a difference, not just to individual lives, but to the lives of millions of children both now and in the future.
Because no child should feel alone.
