Providing vital care to patients and families living with incurable illness.
Birmingham St Mary's Hospice provides personalised support and end of life care to people across Birmingham and Sandwell in the home, local community or at the hospice.
Their vision is where help is available to all individuals, families and carers across the community, wherever and whenever they need it and they plan to extend services to reach over 7,000 individuals by 2020.
Of funds raised £50 could provide someone with care in their own home, £250 could help fund emotional and practical support or £1500 could help a family create memories at their Family Centre.
This is a common concern but once you get signed up and start fundraising the team at Birmingham St Mary's Hospice will have plenty of tips for reaching (and smashing!) the target. If you think you're going to struggle, the best thing to do is have a chat with them as each charity has its own approach.
Just click 'Find out more now' and fill in the enquiry form to get their contact details - if you put your question in, someone from their team will get back to you.

The UK’s leading support and research charity for the 850,000 people living with dementia, their families and carers.
In the UK there are currently around 850,000 people living with dementia and this is expected to increase to over one million by 2025. With no current cure for the causes of dementia, the Alzheimer's Society is committed to campaigning for change, finding a cure and supporting those people living with dementia now.
Your fundraising can help them continue this vital work.

Helping people with mental health problems have a better life
Working across the UK, Mental Health UK provides support, information and advice where one in four people is affected by mental health problems every year.
Of money raised, £20 could pay for two hours room hire for a new support group or £50 could pay for art materials to help members of a support group relax and build friendships.
