The mass start for the London Marathon will begin at 10:10am from Greenwich.

Participants can use the Official Virgin Money London Marathon app to gain access to event day and race week information. Spectators can use it to find and track runners during the race, keep track of split times, view results and more - all via the mobile app.

The 2020 London Marathon has received a world record 457,861 ballot entries. London Marathon ballot results will be announced during the week commencing Monday 7 October 2019. With only around 17,500 of these ballot entrants running on the day, the only way to guarantee yourself a place in the London Marathon is to obtain a charity place.
