See all the incredible sights of Paris, including the Champs Elysees, Arc de Triomphe and the iconic Eiffel Tower.
This is the Schneider Electric Paris Marathon, combining your personal challenge with the chance to discover one of the world's great cities.
Few marathons can boast a starting point as iconic, memorable and photogenic as the Champs Elysees. Bringing your eyes to the road ahead, you’ll run straight through the heart of Paris. As you run, you will pass the Arc de Triomphe and see the Eiffel Tower, providing a stunning backdrop. 26.2 miles later, you will arrive suitably exhausted yet proud and triumphant, on Avenue Foch and the welcome finish line.
Almost 140 nationalities and 50,000 runners come to tackle the long-distance discipline in athletics. In April, all these pavement pounders head to the stunning French capital, Paris, for a non-stop tour of the rich culture and history that lies around each and every corner.
