"Great event, fantastic organiser crew, beautiful view, very nice & cosy route. Loved it every minute. Route is quite flat but uneven so not sure if it's for a personal best but definitely perfect for getting out of your head and lean in!" - Gabriella Fekete
"Great flat route with loads of water stations. Love the festival at the finish line as well. Enjoyed it so much, I've entered for next year already." - Andy Gallagher

Defeating meningitis and septicaemia.
Anyone of any age can get meningitis and septicaemia - one in 10 people who get meningitis will die and two in 10 will be left with an impairment. The Meningitis Research Foundation is working towards a world free of these diseases through research and supports those already affected.
Of money you raise, £25 can help fund an hour of vital research or £50 can help run a phone triage system in 10 clinics across Malawi.
This is a common concern but once you get signed up and start fundraising the team at Meningitis Research Foundation will have plenty of tips for reaching (and smashing!) the target. If you think you're going to struggle, the best thing to do is have a chat with them as each charity has its own approach.
Just click 'Find out more now' and fill in the enquiry form to get their contact details - if you put your question in, someone from their team will get back to you.

No one should have to face cancer alone.
Around 360,000 people are diagnosed with cancer every year in the UK. Macmillan wants to ensure no one faces cancer alone and helps with emotional, physical and financial support from diagnosis to treatment and beyond.
£30 raised could enable a small macmillan support centre to be run for one hour or £50 can help fund their online forum for an hour.
