Helping people with mental health problems have a better life
Working across the UK, Mental Health UK provides support, information and advice where one in four people is affected by mental health problems every year.
Of money raised, £20 could pay for two hours room hire for a new support group or £50 could pay for art materials to help members of a support group relax and build friendships.
This is a common concern but once you get signed up and start fundraising the team at Mental Health UK will have plenty of tips for reaching (and smashing!) the target. If you think you're going to struggle, the best thing to do is have a chat with them as each charity has its own approach.
Just click 'Find out more now' and fill in the enquiry form to get their contact details - if you put your question in, someone from their team will get back to you.

Tackling poverty through renewable energy.
With 1.2 billion people having no access to electricity and spending 200 million hours a day collecting water, Renewable World tackles poverty with clean energy projects across the world to improve incomes, health and education.
Of money you raise £30 could give a Kenyan fisherman the ability to refrigerate fish and seek a fair price or £50 can buy a micro irrigation kit for a Nepalese woman to grow high value crops.
