The TCS New York City Marathon course is a 26.2-mile block party through the world’s most diverse city, and it's a model for big-city marathons around the world. The course begins on Staten Island and covers all five New York boroughs. From here, you will head into Brooklyn for the next 11 or so miles, reaching the half-way stage at Pulaski Bridge. From here it’s into Long Island, then over the East River and into Manhattan, across Central Park for a finish outside Tavern on the Green.
