Tower runs: climb an iconic skyscraper

Tower running, or stair climbing, is gradually making a name for itself in the UK - it’s surprisingly good fun and something different from your typical 10K or half marathon. We take a look at some of the best upcoming tower runs in London.

With a spectacular view waiting at the top, tower runs are generally short to complete, with the tallest buildings in London being achievable in under 15 minutes. No specific training is needed – you just have to be prepared to climb a lot of stairs!

Tower runs are great events to tackle with friends, family or work colleagues, and some even offer a champagne celebration when you reach the top. You really don’t need to be a seasoned runner to attempt the climb, just turn up, have a laugh and maybe raise some money for charity.
