Together we can find and fund the bold ideas that will one day cure cancer.
We are a charity which funds research into any type of cancer anywhere in the world.
We fund projects in the world’s best research institutions. We fund some of the world’s most diverse and unexpected projects. We fund world-renowned specialists and up and coming talent. We do all those things for one very good reason - to gain a global perspective. Because research doesn’t happen in isolation. The answers will not come from one scientist, in one lab, in one country.
This worldwide research will enhance our understanding of cancer and help us find and develop better, more effective treatments. Treatments personalised to your unique needs. Treatments you, your family or your family’s family may rely on in the future.
To realise our vision of no life cut short by cancer the research can never stop. Join our team today to keep it going.

Transforming the lives of vulnerable children & young people in the UK.
As the UK's leading children's charity, Barnardo's aim is to transform the lives of the UK's most vulnerable children who may have been abused, forgotten or neglected. Regardless of their circumstances, gender, race, disability or behaviour, we believe that every child deserves the best start in life and chance to fulfill their potential.
Due to our direct work with children on a daily basis, we are well-placed to campaign for improved policies on childcare - and to champion the rights of children. With our help, support & belief, even the most vulnerable children can turn their lives around.

Providing information and support to lung cancer patients.
Lung cancer is the biggest cancer killer in both men and women, killing over 46,000 people every year in the UK. Early diagnosis is the key to reducing this high mortality rate and your support makes a huge difference to this.
Every year we fund numerous research projects into two main areas: the early detection of lung cancer and the patient experience. We also provide care and advice through our lung cancer support groups, patient information days and specialist information packs, and campaign for better outcomes for patients.
