Join the finale of the Castle Tri Series at Hever Castle and take part in the Starter Tri - a distance perfectly suitable for first-timers.
The races will again commence with an open-water swim in the spectacular 38 acre Hever Castle Lake and River Eden, transitioning into the undulating cycle that takes athletes around a circuit through the High Weald of Kent, an area of outstanding natural beauty, and up to the stunning Ashdown forest for the longer distance races.
The largely off-road run circumnavigates the estate as well as taking runners through land owned by the Bellhurst Nature Conservation Trust (the majority of this section is not on public rights of way), then returning to the award-winning castle grounds before athletes make the dash to the tree-lined finishing chute beside the lake.
"Just to say brilliant event, superb challenging bike course, well organised & marshals did a sterling job, hope to be there next year!" - Kevin Brown
"I did Castle Howard and really did enjoy it, and the marshals and general atmosphere was fantastic. I had such a nice guy who ran with me the final lap – he was the best thing and helped me hugely when I needed it most. I really can’t speak highly enough about the event or general organisation. It was fantastic. Well done to you all." - Sarah Lacey
"Just wanted to email you and say how much I enjoyed the castle Howard event this weekend. It was a great event with pretty much faultless organisation throughout and a superb location and honest course. Hopefully I can get a few more castle series events in." - Paul Hawkins
