Day 1 of this charity bike ride sees riders tackling steep climbs and exhilarating descents on a beautiful loop of the Cotswolds.
Previously known as BOXCAM 200, the Oxford Hundreds Cycle is the reimagined charity bike ride in aid of Parkinson's UK.
Ride like a pro with mobile mechanical support, checkpoints, refreshment stops and chip timing. Plus, take advantage of an extensive training guide to get you to the start line.
Oxford Hundreds Cycle will be based in Jurys Inn Hotel, just north of Oxford's city centre.
You'll loop west into the Cotswolds AONB, passing through Bibury, once described by William Morris as 'the most beautiful village in England'. Overall a hilly days' ride with steep climbs and exhilerating descents.
Cyclists taking on both Day 1 & 2 have a one night stay included at Jurys Inn, plus dinner after the first day of riding. One-day cyclists may join for an additional cost.
Fundraise for Parkinson's UK to help find a cure and support everyone affected by this terrible disease.
Getting exercise and staying active is vital for people with Parkinson's, as Janet explains in this short video...
"I was absolutely bowled over by the event! The route, the food and accommodation, the dinner, and the attention to the riders' welfare over the weekend was quite superb. No detail was too small. I have taken part in many similar events and BOXCAM 200 rates as the best. Thank you for a fabulous weekend" - David Brodie
