Every year, PDSA saves the lives of hundreds of thousands of pets when their owners have nowhere else to turn. Whether it’s a single parent, someone with a disability or an elderly person living on their own, we help people from all lifestyles by tackling poverty in a unique way.
Yet our work goes beyond caring for pets when they’re sick; we’re working to prevent this from happening in the first place. With 48 Pet Hospitals across the UK, veterinary expertise is at the core of what we do and we’re dedicated to educating present and future owners on all aspects of pet ownership.
We touch the lives of more pets and their owners than any other animal charity in the UK today, and we’ve been doing this for 100 years. In that time we have provided a staggering 100 million free treatments to more than 20 million pets.
We’re a lifeline for sick and injured pets, and yet we receive no HM Government funding for our life-saving work. We can’t do it without you.

Funding medical research projects to secure a future without prostate cancer.
One man dies every 45 minutes in the UK and 250,000 die each year worldwide from prostate cancer. The Prostate Cancer Research Centre are focussed on advanced life-threatening prostate cancer to improve survival rates, find new treatments and ultimately a cure.
Money you raise contributes to the cost of laboratory equipment for stem cell research or supporting the salary of the lead scientist researching the spread of prostate cancer.
