The Weald St Georges | 2K Fun Run

Voted by Runners World in the top three 10k events in the South East! The Weald 10k is a varied course mostly on road, with around 2km of hard surfaced woodland trail. At whatever pace you choose to complete, this course will give you a great workout. There’s plenty of variety, including long straights, sharp turns, on road and off road, a water point at 5k and...the hill at 9.5k! The hill has become a feature of the event. It’s short and steep, and with just 500m to go to the finish, and as long as you have kept some energy in reserve, you can power up it and almost coast to the finish from the top.We're hoping that we may have one or two new course record breakers this year. Alongside the 10k run we’ll also be holding the ever popular 2k fun run! It’s ideal for all ages and a great way to get involved in the day if you’re not quite up to the 10k distance.
