Sign up for a new challenge and support a charity of your choice, even before general entries are open! Each charity will have their own fundraising target and incentives to help you get there. By becoming part of a charity team, you'll get some much-needed support in the run up to the event, on the big day itself and beyond.
The route is made up multiple laps. The opening swim takes place in London Docklands; you’ll then transition to bike inside the Olympic venue of the Excel. You’ll then follow a closed road cycle route taking in some of London’s best land marks roughly following the Thames – this section is made up of multiple laps. A final transition inside the Excel before running in and around the building itself.

Challenging attitudes on mental health to help those affected by mental illness.
The vision of Rethink Mental Illness is to transform the way our nation approaches mental illness. Through their network of over 140 support groups, over 200 services in England and successful campaigning they are improving the lives of people affected.
Of money you raise £24 could help them take a helpline call or £100 could pay for two people to attend a local support group for a year.
This is a common concern but once you get signed up and start fundraising the team at Rethink Mental Illness will have plenty of tips for reaching (and smashing!) the target. If you think you're going to struggle, the best thing to do is have a chat with them as each charity has its own approach.
Just click 'Find out more now' and fill in the enquiry form to get their contact details - if you put your question in, someone from their team will get back to you.
