This race crosses the entire width of the Lake District and starts with the SILVA Northern Traverse in St. Bees. The route traverses Ennerdale, Borrowdale, over Grasmere Common, past Grisedale Tarn, through Patterdale, over Kidsty Pike and along Haweswater into Shap. This is a challenging yet beautiful ultra, and a great stepping stone for those aspiring to enter the SILVA Northern Traverse.
