Join on your own or as a team on this fully organised whirlwind challenge to summit the three highest mountains in three countries & help sick children in the UK.
Take on the classic Three Peaks challenge, in reverse order - leaving the highest mountain til last! This fantastic challenge in aid of WellChild takes you up the three highest mountains of three countries but starting in Wales and finishing in Scotland with England in the middle.
By doing this you’ll build up to the highest mountain in the UK as your grand finale! You'll then stay overnight in a hotel in Fort William for a celebratory meal, drinks and socialise with new found friends, swapping stories of a fantastic weekend.
The majority of people will sign up by themselves and meet people on the challenge - so don't worry if you're on your own. An ideal challenge for your workplace.
For the best chance of completing the challenge, enjoying it and avoiding injury you will need to follow the training schedule provided in the welcome pack (click 'Find out more'). If you are already fit there are plenty of tips specific to trekking.
Get picked up by the coach at various pick up points. Reaching Snowdon at around 10am; it's a relatively simple walk but has steep sections which tests your legs. After two hours you summit the mountain and enjoy spectacular views across the Welsh countryside.
Next is Scafell Pike, arriving at 9pm for a night-time summit. With a mixture of paths, boulder fields and scree, it's the smallest mountain of the three but the hardest terrain. However seeing the sunrise as you descend from the mountain is truly magical and worth all your hard work.
We arrive at Ben Nevis around 1pm and begin long steady climb which remains roughly at the same gradient throughout. The views can be spectacular and as we reach the summit there’s the opportunity for a team photo and snack.
Then it's off to our accommodation for the night; everyone meets in the bar to celebrate, share stories, show off blisters and enjoy the three course celebratory meal!
After a long nights sleep we meet for a full English Breakfast before presenting each individual their challenge certificate. After a team photo it’s back to our coach to travel home.
Make the most of the long days by signing up to this summer hiking challenge.

Care and support for children with a long-term or complex health condition.
Over 100,000 children and young people in the UK are living with serious or life limiting health needs. WellChild helps them to be cared for at home rather than in hospital by their WellChild Nurses and Helping Hands home improvement initiative which transforms gardens and bedrooms.
£25 raised can pay for an hour's nurse care and £500 can fund a week's research to help children with serious brain injury.
