The Duke of Edinburgh Award is the world's leading youth achievement award, with 3 million awards achieved since it was founded in 1956.
Through a programme of activities and challenges, anyone aged 14-24 from any background, circumstance, culture or religion can develop skills, confidence and knowledge to take forward into adult life.
Their goal is for 350,000 young people to start their DofE per year in the UK by 2021, with 70,000 coming from disadvantaged backgrounds.
