Now’s your chance to take on a new challenge and hike up the colossal Mount Kilimanjaro at 5,895m to help make breakthroughs possible. Not to be underestimated with its 1,000m ascent and 2,000m descent, this is one of the toughest but most exhilarating adventures you will ever embark on.
Beginning in the lush rainforests of the Lemosho Glades, you’ll then climb towards the Shira Plateau to acclimatize. From here you can see your goal: the ice-capped peak of Kibo. You then follow the impressive Southern Flank, Barranco Wall and Barafu Route to the summit, Uhuru Peak.
The majority of people will sign up by themselves and meet people on the challenge - so don't worry if you're on your own.
Participants come in all shapes and sizes and have the desire to do something outside of their comfort zone for this worthy cause. Significant physical training is part of the journey for you to endure the physical and mental test of this extreme challenge.
