Mapperton Muddle | 10K

We just love running around Dorset, so we’re really happy to have this incredible venue to play with. Just outside of Dorchester is Mapperton, the country estate owned by the Earl and Countess of Sandwich. We are excited and very proud to have been invited to run at Mapperton, one of Dorset’s finest estates, for a second time. The Mapperton Muddle races are a 10K and half-marathon in and around the fine Mapperton Estate. The races are in the valley’s so expect mud, lovingly created by the herd of White Park Cattle and watered by the many natural springs in the area. Both races will be a bit hilly and a bit wet. The medal design represents the White Park Cattle on site and the massive stag we saw on our first visit! The gardens of the house will be opened especially to runners and their spectators. There will be refreshments served pre- and post-race by the team in the Coach House. It’s time to break out the trail shoes for a unique set of races at this great venue.
