Souter Lighthouse 10K

The event will take place on Day 1 (Saturday) of the Souter Lighthouse Summer Running Weekend alongside the South Shields 10 Mile Race. The course will be fully marked & marshalled by our amazing volunteer team - with drinks & refreshments along the way. All finishing runners will receive a Souter Lighthouse Trail 10km medal for taking part. Awards will be provided for first 3 male & female. The course passes by Whitburn Nature Reserve, Marsden Rock/Marsden Bay, Frenchman's Bay & has fantastic views overlooking Sandhaven Beach. Keep an eye out for dolphins swimming along the coast! The Souter Lighthouse 10km course is 1 full lap set on coastal trail paths & footpaths.
