If you like beautiful races in beautiful places, like fun, like medals and like goodies then this event is for you.
You'll enjoy a bespoke medal and lots of goodies at the finish line.
This event is part of the It's Grim Up North calendar of runs, offering a range of distances and levels of difficulty so there is something for everyone.
Famous for its low-key approach, all runners will be greeted with a warm smile and friendly chat.
The aim is to get you out running, help you enjoy the beautiful countryside with great camaraderie and for you to experience the sense of well-being you get when you cross that finish line.
You'll be shown that the North is anything but Grim.
Every time you complete a lap you will be given a band to put onto your wrist, you can do as many laps as you want and when you decide to finish you can ring the bell, this will indicate to the official timers that you have finished.
You can do as many laps as you wish if you pass the start/finish area before the 3 hour/6 hour cut off, meaning if you go through at 2hrs 59 minutes/5 hours 59 minutes on the official’s timer you can go on to do another lap (although we may not love you for it).
Weather dependant. If wet trail shoes.
Silver Street, Masham
If you park in the field at the start/finish area the charge will be £3.00 per car - all of which will go their charity.
From the direction of the A1, the event HQ will be in the park on your left-hand side as you come over the first bridge into Masham. There will be a big sign up.
This is cupless event. All runners are requested to bring their own labelled, reusable cup or bottle. These may be filled before, during and after the event.
