A new Fun2Tri event has been added for total novices! This shorter, yet equally challenging course is designed to encourage new athletes of all levels, to enjoy a fantastic day of fitness and achievement.
This event is part of Buckinghamshire Triathlon.
These fun and friendly events are open to everyone and are an ideal introduction for beginners to the sport of triathlon.
The Buckinghamshire Triathlon offers a unique "Fun2Tri" distance to encourage all to the sport and offers a supportive environment, with cheering crowds and a fun and relaxed atmosphere meaning everyone enjoys the day, competitors and friends and family alike.
Lots of support and online beginners advice will be offered to help make your triathlon the best it could possibly be for you. As well as a great atmosphere, you are sure to gain a special sense of achievement as you cross the finish line to receive that all important finishers medal and confirmation the end result was worth every bit of hard work!

With #TriTogether you can swim, cycle and run together as part of a friendly wave.
The idea behind #TriTogether is that people often feel more comfortable taking on a challenge like a triathlon if they have a friend to take part with. Everyone is encouraged to Tri, be that competitively or simply just for the fun of it.

Unfortunately due to the venue being a school playing field, no dogs are allowed on the site.
The triathlon begins with a pool swim, where participants complete their chosen distance, with everyone having an individual swim start time (based on their swim estimate). This allows competitors to participate alongside others of the same swim ability.
After conquering the swim, competitors transition to the cycling stage. The cycling routes wind through the scenic countryside surrounding Chesham. The 20K course offers a challenging and visually captivating ride.
4 laps = 5km
The final leg takes participants to Chesham's School field for the run section of the triathlon. The field provides an excellent running course, fully grass and flat, allowing athletes to showcase their endurance and determination as they approach the finish line.
Full competitor race day information with your race number and start time will be emailed to you 7-10 days before the event.
