There are sportives and there are sportives but this is by far the best I've ever done. Really well organised with loads of friendly staff offering welcome encouragement. Riding the coast to coast should be on every cyclists bucket list. Done it twice now and seriously thinking of doing it for a third time! David T

This was a great day out riding across the country from west to east Loved it. Well organised and marked route too. Gavin G

A well organised event that I really enjoyed last year which is why I’ve signed up to do it all again in 2024. Nigel I

I’ve done a lot of events over the years, half marathons, 70.3 triathlons and sportives. This was probably the most supportive experience that I have had in any of these events. If this is on your bucket list you couldn’t want for a better organisation to complete it with. If Carlsberg created sportives… Ruth H

Great team, full support at all times which made a huge difference to the day 😊👍 Colin M

Very enjoyable as a first long ride event. Great event to take part in. Andy J

Probably the best cycling event I’ve ever done. A wonderful route, great feed stations. Friendly atmosphere where you’re riding alone or in a group. An iconic event, and great value for money.. A tough day but one you’ll remember for ever. Tony C
