Caring for families who have a child with a life threatening or terminal illness.
Through their eight teams of Support Workers across the UK, the Rainbow Trust Children's Charity provides assistance and support to children with a life threatening or terminal illness and their families.
In 2017/18 they helped 2,500 families but their vision is that every family in the UK who has a child with a life threatening illness should get the support they need.

Support for disabled children with Rett syndrome and their families
Rett syndrome causes profound and multiple physical and communication disabilities in mainly females, from the age of one. The child survives but has a severe disability.
It is a rare neurological disorder caused by genetic mutation, but very rarely hereditary, which could happen to anyone.
Rett UK aims to minimise the impact of the condition and maximise the potential of people living with Rett syndrome.
They provide professional support, information and advice to families from diagnosis throughout their lives.
