Event summary
The White Rose Classic cycle event is enjoyed by 1000 riders, who often bring their friends and families. It runs on the longest Sunday of the year, 21 June 2020 out of Ilkley, West Yorkshire. There are three phenomenal routes to choose from.
3 routes in the Yorkshire Dales
Grassington Short Route - 49 miles. It's enough to get a good taste of why professional cycling races keep coming back to Yorkshire, but with an emphasis on enjoyment over challenge.
Settle Medium Route - 86 miles. This is a serious ride, but one that takes you into beautiful Silverdale, a quiet place just underneath Pen-Y-Ghent.
Hawes Long Route - 122 miles. Ready for a tough Yorkshire challenge? The Long Route includes over 10,000 feet of climbing, but rewards you with spectacular views and long, fast descents.
Fully stocked feed stations
As great as the riding is on the White Rose Classic, it is the food and drink, your cycling nutrition – along with your legs – that powers you for the day. With that in mind, we have spaced three fittingly-stocked feed stations out on the road.
What's included
The day starts and finishes in Ilkley where we put on a proper meal for riders, included with your registration fee. You can also purchase local beer on tap, freshly made ice cream and other delicacies while listening to live music at the after-ride party.
We've done everything for you to have a safe and enjoyable day out, all you have to do is register and turn up on the day.
