This event is part of the It's Grim Up North calendar of runs, offering a range of distances and levels of difficulty so there is something for everyone.
Famous for its low-key approach, all runners will be greeted with a warm smile and friendly chat.
The aim is to get you out running, help you enjoy the beautiful countryside with great camaraderie and for you to experience the sense of well-being you get when you cross that finish line.
You'll be shown that the North is anything but Grim.

The start and finish will be in the field opposite the house.
Registration is in front of Temple Newsham House.
All car parks are within walking distance.
The course is a 6.7-mile loop on trail with a short section of tarmac. Parts of this course can be muddy if there has been a lot of rain.
There will be water/feed stations along the route approximately every 3-4 miles. Marshals will be placed along the route at the turnaround points and on the water/feed stations.

This is cupless event. All runners are requested to bring their own labelled, reusable cup or bottle. These may be filled before, during and after the event.
