Welcoming back for the 2nd year, The Jurassic Express Half Marathon starting from Swanage!
You will set off from the seaside town of Swanage, run epic trails with stunning coastal and castle vistas. The run finishes at the historic ruins of Corfe Castle where you will board a private steam train. Sit back, relax, soak up the views, and reflect on the experience as you return to your car via the Swanage railway. The route itself has 2 options, a 1/2 Marathon (22k) and a 16k option. Both routes are loaded with awe-inspiring views of the Jurassic Coast. including Old Harry Rocks, Studland, and Corfe Castle. The chalk and sandy trails are hard packed and lend themselves to an enjoyable trail running experience. This amazing Jurassic Coast Trail run is an experience you will remember for years. The event is timed and will have water station(s) on route to keep you hydrated. At the finish you will receive a well-deserved quality event specific medal and finishers present. Return train tickets cost £8 and can be purchased on the day.
