Overview

Covering the second highest mountain in England and Wales as part of this imposing skyline, the Ogwen 25 | Pen yr Helgi Du race includes epic trails and technical terrain; it's truly a mountain race. The Carneddau are the Front Range of the Eryri (Snowdonia) mountains, rising from the North Wales coast to form the second highest mountains in the whole of England and Wales, with Carnedd Llywelyn being just 21m lower than it’s more famous cousin Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon). This race provides an accessible skyline race that will test the experienced but also provide enough support to those looking to take their mountain running to the next level! The Ogwen 10 is the perfect opportunity to be able to be part of the event and enjoy some stunning mountain vistas. The out and back, fast and flat route, follows the historic Slate Trail through the Valley with both the Glyderau and Carneddau dominating the landscape.

This event is part of Ogwen25 | Yr Helgi Du.
