Red Shirt Challenge

A "redshirt" is a stock character in fiction who dies soon after being introduced. The term originates from the original Star Trek television series in which the red-shirted security personnel frequently die during episodes. Over the years it's become something of a trope in Science Fiction and even general fiction of characters who are destined to be short lived and who may well, "not make it"! Some of you may recall that the original event that we had planned had to be relocated to a different venue... so we thought we'd try again to return to Cyclopark to get as many folks as possible in red shirts! (Which may well confuse the locals of course!) - You'll have a choice of either of the medals on a first come first served basis, though we have plenty so most everyone should be able to get their choice of the "shirt" or "crew" medal! Complete as many loops as you wish within the time limit, consume as many goodies as you wish within the time limit. Run a marathon, run an ultra, run less, as long as you complete one loop you're a finisher! We do warn you though,as with many of our events, you may consume more calories than you burn off, but just in case you don't the goody bags will contain a decent amount of chocolate! It's our aim that this event makes an impactful difference to the Cyclopark charity in a positive fashion and as such £5 from each entry fee will be donated directly to the Cyclopark Trust to aid them in maintaining this environment and facility.
