An ultra in the Isle of Skye, the terrain is tough but includes spectacular mountain and coastal scenery. At the start, the route follows the spectacular Trotternish Ridge, then passes between the jagged Black Cuillin and the less rugged Red Cuillin. These are some of the most stunning mountains in the UK. There are rarely visited coastal paths, trails above steep drops and the haunting ruins of villages deserted at the times of the Highland Clearances. If you are lucky, you may catch the sight of a minke whale or a golden eagle! 74 miles with 4460 mts of ascent. The competitors have 26hrs to complete.
