Join the Royal British Legion for a sociable hike through beautiful countryside to support the Armed Forces community.
While you enjoy stunning scenery and countryside, you'll be supported to make sure you have everything you need to enjoy the day. Whether you come in a group or on your own, this is the perfect adventure for anyone looking to explore the great outdoors, learn some history, and challenge themselves this summer.
The Poppy Treks raise vital funds to ensure that the charity can continue to support serving and ex-serving personnel, and their families, for as long as they need us. That’s why at each trek you’ll have the opportunity to remember a loved one, or those who’ve served.
Trek through the beautiful Kent countryside alongside the historic Royal Military Canal, a canal built between 1804 and 1809 as a defence against invasion during the Napoleonic War. Look inside the numerous WWII pillboxes on route and take a moment of reflection as you pass by the Cosway Monument and walk past the remains of the Roman fort known as Stutfall Castle.
The friendly events team are experts in delivering a first-class experience and are tere to support you every step of the way with fundraising tips and training advice.
You are encouraged to raise as much as you can to support the Royal British Legion's vital services and support for the Armed Forces community. If you reach £250 you’ll earn an official RBL technical t-shirt. The dedicated events team will support you in your fundraising efforts.
Every step you take and every pound you raise will help the Royal British Legion ensure that no-one who has served is disadvantaged because of the sacrifices they have made.

It was an incredible day and I am proud to have taken part in the first Poppy Trek. I was inspired by so many of my fellow Trekkers. I hope we get to meet next year. Zal Rustom, Poppy Trek participant
