Event overview
If you like beautiful races in beautiful places, like fun, like medals and like goodies then this event is for you.
You'll enjoy finish-line treats as well as a bespoke finishers medal.

This event is part of the It's Grim Up North calendar of runs, offering a range of distances and levels of difficulty so there is something for everyone.
Famous for its low-key approach, all runners will be greeted with a warm smile and friendly chat.
The aim is to get you out running, help you enjoy the beautiful countryside with great camaraderie and for you to experience the sense of well-being you get when you cross that finish line.
Having completed your race the type of goodies everyone wants will await you!
You'll be shown that the North is anything but Grim.
Enjoy a trip up the Leeds and Liverpool Canal this Valentine's. With distances ranging from 5K to marathon, all along the flat, even towpath, this event is perfect for runners of all abilities, from novices to Ultra PB chasers! One to warm the depths of your heart.
A popular event and a return to the Leeds Liverpool canal, this time just outside Bingley. The tow path on this event is great underfoot, so this flat outback (if you donβt mind 3-Rise and 5-Rise Locks) is maybe the one that allows you to push yourself to the next distance. For this chip-timed event all you have to do is choose one of the distances available.

Great race - I did the 10K last time so thought this time I would do the half marathon. The route most is fast and flat when heading back other runners were saying well done. I will defo do this one again. Michael T

Cute little run. Organisers were friendly and helpful, route was simple and easy. Adri Sipos
A good challenging run out. Mostly flat...if you exclude the 3 and 5 lock rise, but apart from that, beautiful scenery, a well organised event by friendly and passionate people and good treats to aid with recovery! Damian Mcintyre
