The D-Day 44 Challenge offers two fantastic route options; 22 miles or 44 miles, both of which take you on a memorable journey following forgotten paths, rocky outcrops and beautiful Norman villages.
Last year alone Blesma supported over 3,000 limbless veterans, and your fundraising will help provide continued support to ex-servicemen and women who have suffered life-changing injuries in the honourable service of our country.
"The event was brilliantly organised and the support for runners outstanding. I have run marathons all over the world-this was the most enjoyable"
"It was an absolute honour to be able to run on the D-Day beaches and the adjacent hinterland. It was also an honour to represent Blesma"
"Camaraderie, team work and the history of the location… an amazing event"
Supporting limbless veterans since WW1.
Blesma is one of the few surviving charities established in the aftermath of the First World War and has been dedicated to helping limbless veterans ever since.
The loss of a limb or eye is life-changing but our expertise on living with limb loss helps thousands of serving and ex-Service men and women every year.
With your support, Blesma can ensure that those who have served our country and who endure limbloss every day, can lead independent and fulfilling lives.
